darling projects
A collection of Darling Projects. Each one original, each one thoughtfully designed, and of course each one of them Darling!
What I love most are the clients and trusted vendors I get to work with. These projects are each specific to the people who live in these spaces, and designed with intent for how they plan to use them. I love that I get to be a part of their story, and know that they get to love the spaces where they live.
Music is a huge part of the Darling design process - so the project names are a glimpse into the soundtrack of each design.
crystal vision (dreams)
An addition that has everything a hotel suite can offer and more! Every detail custom - from the cabinet design to the tile layouts and patterns, and Darling styling. The makeup vanity, grand shower, private WC and heated floors under that gorgeous tile lay are just a few of the perks in this posh suite. Our client is a singer, and wanted a space to get ready, be inspired, and come home to relax after being on stage.
life of a showgirl
The ensuite space has a custom Coffee Til Cocktails Bar, Bespoke Dresser / Media Unit and every amenity a 5 star resort can offer. Treat your energy like a luxury item, Darling. Not everyone can afford it - but anyone can have the room of their dreams!
vogue
An immaculate collection of shoes and clothes needed the prefect walk in wardrobe.
step outside, the summertime's in bloom
Don't look back in anger - no need to relive the previous version of this backyard. A revolutionary design concept was to create the ultimate outdoor addition to this family home. Creativity in design was essential as square footage was limited. The clients had specific requests - outdoor entertaining including an outdoor kitchen, with ample storage and seating, a spa, fire pit, fountain and media including surround sound and multiple TVs for watching their favorite sporting events, movies and listening to music!
everything I wanted
A spa like retreat for an upstairs bathroom in an early 1900's Bungalow.
The intent of the space was to get clever with square footage - borrowing space from adjacent closets, finding creative use of the original roof lines to find intentional nooks and design details.
california love
A Ranch Style home for a Southern California couple who planted roots in The Bay Area.
Cool vibes, coastal tones & plenty of places to lounge and entertain were the priorities for this renovation.
drunk in love
An existing but dated bar needed an upgrade. To connect this space to the rest of the design, a blue hue was the perfect backdrop for bar accessories.
summer girl
This petite powder room is full of so many fun details. A narrow sink helps make the room feel larger, storage baskets and stools allow for a cute spot to set necessities. This is the bathroom that most guests use after the pool, so a bit of fun with the keepsakes on display give a personal touch and surprise element to the space.
smells like teen spirit
This teenage dream bathroom was so much fun to create with the input of a very stylish young resident. Coastal cool was the goal for this ensuite. A design that can grow with the teenager now and for years to come!
folklore
I had a marvelous time ruining everything...just to build it back again even better.
With a gorgeous bold print they loved in hand - Darling came in to rethink the layout, update the fixtures, and take it to the next level with bespoke tile details, finishes and styling details.
good luck, babe!
While all the plumbing in this bathroom stayed in place, you can say it's just the way you are, but this bathroom got a complete reinvention! Custom reeding on the Darling cabinet, with secret storage and style.
hello, goodbye
A complete home renovation with a mid-century style, thoughtful layouts for aging in place and having a sweet space to grow up. Clean lines and tucked away storage made this Darling Dwelling unique and a space where the homeowners can always come home to.
